Rare Natural Phenomenon "The Everlasting Storm"

The Everlasting Storm or referred to as Eternal Lightning is found in the Catatumbo-Maracaibo Region of Venezuela. The area was hit by lightning 3600 times an hour in the sense that every second there is always lightning and lasts throughout the year.

The Storm Highway website reports "the configuration of the wind and tropical climate in Maracaibo makes this region an ideal place for eternal lightning". At night, lightning that strikes every time is used as a lighthouse for Maracaibo fishermen who want to dock.

Uniquely, residents who live in the area are already accustomed to their environmental situation so they only close the blinds every night to prevent glare due to lightning. Actually this lightning occurs due to wind / cloud friction coming from the Andes Mountains.

These lightning clouds rub against each other and cause flashes of light that are about 5 kilometers long. You can see the lightning in a radius of 400 km and has an intensity of 400,000 amperes. May be useful.
